TASTE OF HONEY

THE WORD OF GOD LIGHTS THE WAY
God's Word is a daily guide to my life. Lights and lamps drive out darkness so that we don't stumble. God's Word does just that.

Sometimes I let my mouth speak words that are not uplifting to others.

HIDDEN WORD
When I hide a precious item, it is to preserve it and keep it safe to be taken out when needed.

I WILL HIDE GOD'S WORD IN MY HEART, FOR I NEED IT EVERY DAY.
NO SECRETS
I love to find out secrets. God has some special secrets for me in His Word.
"This is what the Lord says, he who made the earth, and the Lord who formed it and established itthe Lord is His name: 'Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.'"

GOD HAS REVEALED HIS SECRETS TO ME THROUGH HIS WORD.
THE SPIRIT REVEALS ALL

Everyone believes that Columbus discovered that the world was round and not flat. Isaiah, back in 740 B.C. told us the same thing.

TEMPTATION
Temptations are everywhere today. We see them on television, in the movies, the newspapers, all around us. How do we stay pure?

Discipline (instruction) is very important to the development of young people. It helps them set boundaries in their lives.

SPIRITUAL EYES
When my eyes are shut, I miss out on some beautiful things in the physical world. When my spiritual eyes are shut, I miss even more.

When the people of Babel were of one language, the language was not of God and he confounded their understanding of languages. But God will return us to His language.

THE WORD'S PROMISES LAST FOREVER
There are not too many things that are guaranteed to last forever. Cars have to be traded, computers become obsolete, refrigerators wear out. There is one thing that lasts forever:

GOD'S WORD IS CUTTING
Sometimes we describe a word as "cutting". Meaning that it goes right to the heart of the matter. So it is with God's Word.
"For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of powerÃÆ'Ã'¢Ãƒ¢'Ã'¬"making it active, operative, energizing and effective; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life(soul) and (the immortal) spirit, and of joints and marrow (that is, of the deepest parts of our nature) exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart."

Honey is used to denote the Word of God many times in the Bible.
