2012 COLUMBIA YOUTH FOOTBALL LEAGUE
 OPEN TO GRADES K THROUGH 8th
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: July 10th, 2012

 Registration Policy:

1. Please register online at www.columbiayouthfootball.com. Credit cards accepted or you may also mail your fee payments.
2. Only players who have paid their registration fees in full will be drafted and placed on teams.
3. Players who register early may be eligible to pick up equipment before the draft. Dates to be announced. All fees must be received by July 10^th.
4. A $50.00 late fee may be charged for all late or walk-up registrations at the CYFL combine and draft.
5. Registrations may be dropped off early at the VAC, Red Weir and Play it Again Sports.

Equipment Policy for 2012: Each year many players fail to return their leased football equipment which unfortunately increases league expenses. In order to reduce equipment losses and to maintain our low registration fees, all parents or guardians of tackle players will now be required to:

1. Present a paid receipt in order to receive football equipment. No exceptions.
2. Submit a mandatory $50.00 equipment deposit due upon receipt of leased football equipment. A post-dated $50.00 check or money order, payable to CYFL post-dated to 12/1/2012 will be held on file and returned when the leased equipment is returned.
3. Final equipment return is Saturday 12/1/2012.
4. If you fail to return the leased equipment your deposit check will be forfeited and cashed on 12/15/2012 plus you will be billed a minimum of $150.00 for the replacement cost of the leased football equipment. Player may also be prohibited from participating in future CYFL activities.

Fundraising Player Participation: Fundraising is a key source of revenue vital to covering our major expenses. We need your support to continue our mission of providing excellence in youth football.

1. All players and families are expected to participate in League fundraising activities.
2. An optional $30.00 Buyout is available in lieu of the League Fall Fundraiser. 

We need your support to continue our mission of providing excellence in youth football.

Please note that if you do not buy out or participate it is unfair to those do participate or buy out. Remember: Football is the ultimate team sport! Support your team!

 Tackle Combine Tryouts will be held at Cosmo Park

1. Beginning Tackle (3^rd - 4^th grades) 9:00 am Saturday July 28^th
2. Junior Tackle (5^th – 6^th grades) 11:00 am Saturday July 28^th
3. Senior Tackle (7^th – 8^th grades) 1:00 pm Saturday July 28^th
4. Columbia Colts Competitive Tackle Tryouts (5^th – 8^th grades) 7:00 pm Thursday July 26^rd

Mandatory Coaches Meeting July 30th

Preseason camp and workouts begin Tuesday July 31st

Regular practices begin Monday August 6th
