Information from the BC Baseball Website:

The BC Baseball League, in its 18th year, works with coach-picked teams to provide the highest level of competitive baseball in Central Missouri. Affiliated with USSSA Baseball as a sanctioning organization, the League schedules games in Columbia at the league’s Twin Oaks Sports Complex, in Columbia at the Boone County Fairgrounds Atkins Complex, in Jefferson City, in Taos at Countryside Park and, potentially, other locations. Teams and players in this league come from all over Central Missouri, but mostly from Boone, Cole, Callaway and Audrain counties.

The purpose of the BC Baseball League, a non-profit organization, is to organize and promote youth baseball, to perpetuate the interest and the love of the game and to provide an opportunity for teams and players to compete in baseball at a higher level. The current affiliation with USSSA Baseball provides an opportunity for league members to qualify for state and national championship play. The league members qualify as teams, not as end-of-the season all-star squads, for this post-season play.

2009 Boys Non-Select Baseball Tournament - June 12th - 14th

WHERE: HENDERSON FIELDS, FENTON, MO

FEE: $225.00

ALL teams entering tournament must provide an approved roster from their parent organization along with the name and phone number of a contact person in the parent organization who can verify team competition level. (NOTE: Tournament or opposing team may check roster)

DIVISIONS AND AGE LIMITATIONS:

· ATOM 2 (base stealing will apply) - players born on or after May 1, 1999

· BANTAM 1 - players born on or after May 1, 1998

· BANTAM 2 - players born on or after May 1, 1997

· MIDGET 1 - players born on or after May 1, 1996

· MIDGET 2 - players born on or after May 1, 1995

· JUVENILE 1 - players born on or after May 1, 1994

TOURNAMENT FORMAT:

3 games guaranteed. Teams will play “round robin” with the teams with the best record in the round robin advancing to the Championship Game.

PITCHING LIMITATIONS:

· ATOM 2: 3 innings per game per player (9 defensive outs), Max 2 games/day

· BANTAM 1& 2: 4 innings per game per player (12 defensive outs), Max 2 games/day

· MIDGET 1& 2: 7 innings per day per player (21 defensive outs)

· JUVENILE 1: 7 innings per day per player (21 defensive outs)

All teams will bat the roster and free substitution will be allowed.

TIE BREAKERS:

1. Head to Head 5. In the event all teams in a division did not play each

2. Least runs allowed other the tie breaker will move to #2 and so forth

3. Most runs scored

4. Coin Flip

AWARD PRESENTATIONS:

1^st PLACE – 1 Team and INDIVIDUAL PLAYERS

2^nd PLACE – 1 Team and INDIVIDUAL PLAYERS

3^rd PLACE – 1 Team and INDIVIDUAL PLAYER
