Re: Elections for Board of Directors and Committee Members
Hello CYFL Parents and Coaches,
Please join us at the next Board Meeting 5:30-7:00 pm Monday February 6th. We will hold a brief discussion regarding preparations for the 2012 season followed by elections of new Board members and Officers to the Board of Directors. These positions include: Treasurer, Secretary, and three Board members.
We are seeking volunteers for chairpersons for several vital committees, including but not limited to: 1) Fundraising; 2) Sponsors; 3) Team Parents; 4) Registration; 5) Coaches and Rules Committees; 6) Community Relations; 7) Equipment; and 8) Policies, Procedures and Compliance.
We are also looking for volunteers to serve as football commissioners for each age group: 1) Flag; 2) Beginning Tackle (3rd & 4th grades); 3) Junior Tackle (5th & 6th grades); 4) Senior Tackle (7th & 8th grades); and a Columbia Colts representative with the Gateway Football League.
Elections will be held at the next Board meeting Monday February 6th at the Armory 701 E. Ash Street downtown Columbia. Please visit the CYFL website, then click the tab More Info> Forms and Documents or click the following link:

Please join our team to make CYFL the premier youth sports league in Mid-Missouri. Football is the ultimate team sport and we need you! Surely you have something to give to make football the most memorable time in a kids life.

Note: The Board of Directors and all committee members are volunteer, unpaid positions. Duties vary greatly for each committee or Board member position. If you have a special skill set that you think will benefit the League or would just like to be involved, please contact one of Board members for more information. The only job requirement is a selfless dedication to make a difference in the life of a child and a commitment to the values of youth sports.
All Board meetings are open to the public and all CYFL players, parents, and coaches.
