No Collapse Front Drill #1
PURPOSE: Proper hip action and shoulder rotation.
SPACE NEEDED: 10 X 10 feet
EQUIPMENT NEEDED: None
NO. PERSONS REQUIRED: You and a partner
AREAS OF CONCENTRATION:
1. Proper lower half stance.
2. Full hip turn.
3. Front foot closed.
4. Back foot pivoted with toes pointed to front foot.
5. Belt buckle remains on same level throughout swing.
6. Shoulders have complete turn on finish.
EXECUTION:
1. Assume your stance and place hands on hips.
2. Trigger properly.
3. In slow motion, turn your hips open, feeling each movement.
4. Concentrate on the back foot pivoting.
5. Make sure belly button finishes pointed at the pitcher.
6. Your back shoulder should nearly replace the position of your front shoulder.

PURPOSE: Proper hip action and shoulder rotation.
SPACE NEEDED: 10 X 10 feet
EQUIPMENT NEEDED: Instructo Stic or Bat
NO. PERSONS REQUIRED: You
AREAS OF CONCENTRATION:
1. Proper lower half stance.
2. Full hip turn.
3. Front foot closed.
4. Back foot pivoted with toes pointed to front foot.
5. Belt buckle remains on same level throughout swing.
6. Shoulders have complete turn on finish.
EXECUTION:
1. Assume your stance and place your hands on your hips.
2. Trigger properly.
3. In slow motion make proper and complete hip turn.
4. Concentrate on your belt buckle staying at the same level as it was at the beginning of your stance.
5. Check the position of both legs and that the front foot remains closed.

PURPOSE: Proper hip action and shoulder rotation.
SPACE NEEDED: 10 X 10 feet
EQUIPMENT NEEDED: Instructo Stic or Bat
NO. PERSONS REQUIRED: You
AREAS OF CONCENTRATION:
1. Proper lower half stance.
2. Full hip turn.
3. Front foot closed.
4. Back foot pivoted with toes pointed to front foot.
5. Belt buckle remains on same level throughout swing.
6. Shoulders have complete turn on finish.
EXECUTION:
1. Assume your stance and place Instructo Stic or bat behind your back in the small of your back.
2. Place your hands on the stic at the sides of your body.
3. Hands should grip the stic backhanded with your palms facing behind you.
4. In slow motion, trigger and make your hip turn, trying to replace the stic/bat with the back end of the stic/bat.
5. Your back shoulder should nearly replace the position of your front shoulder.
