Throwing Finish
Your hips and back side must explode when you throw. You are leaving your back leg behind you. The back leg must come around for power. The throwing-hand foot should end up in front of the glove-hand foot on your finish.
Finish Drill
PURPOSE: To use your back side for power by using your front foot for accuracy and ensuring that your back side gets through.
SPACE NEEDED: 50 feet or more
EQUIPMENT NEEDED: Ball and hat
NO. PERSONS REQUIRED: You and a partner, wall/blanket/net

AREAS OF CONCENTRATION:
1. Front shoulder at the target.
2. Correct pivot on the back foot.
3. Correct position of the front foot.
4. Finish with throwing-hand foot in front of glove-hand foot.

EXECUTION:
1. Start in throwing stance with weight on balls of foot and weight 50-50.
