Waist Bent Drill
PURPOSE: To maintain your posture (slightly bent at the waist) as you go through your throwing motion.
SPACE NEEDED: 15 feet
EQUIPMENT NEEDED: Towel (no longer than 12 inches), corner of bed/chair or partner; possibly a mirror.
NO. PERSONS REQUIRED: You, and possibly a partner

AREAS OF CONCENTRATION:
1. Eyes staying level throughout range of throwing motion.
2. Keeping posture the same.

EXECUTION:
1. Set up for the towel drill, assuming your stance/landing position (mark this point) and walking off five heel-to-toe steps toward the target from that point. Place the chair, or have your partner kneel with his palm up at the point 5 steps away from your stance.
2. Return to your stance, with your front foot at the point where it was when you started. Hold the towel in the middle, with your index and ring finger underneath the towel and your middle finger on top of the towel.
3. Begin your throwing motion, trying to hit the chair or your partner's hand with the towel. As you throw, keep your front shoulder closed until you explode to throw, with your eyes level and with your posture remaining unchanged.
