FALL 2010 SOCCER PRACTICE SCHEDULE
Men’s Association Family Achievement Scholarship Award
The St. Catherine Laboure Men's Association is pleased and extremely proud to announce the recipients of the 2010 Family Achievement Scholarship. This year’s recipient’s are:
Kathryn Doder, daughter of Vince and Kris Doder.
Joey McGuire, son of Lou and Kathleen McGuire.
Each student will receive a plaque and $750 to help with their tuition. The awards were presented at the June 14’TH meeting of the Men's Association. Our thanks to all the families participating this year. We have much to be proud of at St. Catherine's for the many contributions our school families make to the parish. We wish Kathryn and Joey, as well as all of the graduates of the Class of 2010, the best of luck in their high school years. As always, thanks to the Marquis Club for their continued support in underwriting these scholarships.

SCL CYC Person of the Year
The SCL Athletic Association would like to congratulate John Schnurbusch for being selected as the SCL CYC person of the year. Over the years, John as continually given of his time and talent within our program, both as a coach and as treasurer for the Men’s Association, we are most grateful for his dedication to our parish and CYC.
John was honored and recognized as well as the District Person of the Year, neighboring Parish Persons of the Year and the South County CYC Scholarship Recipients at Andre’s Banquet Center on April 10, 2010.

Sappington, Missouri, St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Parish (SCL) is a non-profit Catholic organization consisting of many dedicated individuals and families from the community. We are affiliated with the Archdiocese of St. Louis, Missouri located in the heart of the
Midwest.
OUR MISSION STATEMENT:
As a people of God ministering to the youth of the Parish through our Athletic Programs we will strive;
To develop a Christian attitude by showing respect for teammates, coaches, parents, and opponents.
To learn all aspects of the sport with substantial participation in practices and games.
To understand that winning should not be determined by the score, but by the efforts put forward by each person giving their best.
The SCL Athletic Association, which is a committee of the SCL Men's Association, runs the athletic program for the parish of St. Catherine Laboure. The members of the Athletic Association are dedicated to providing track, baseball, softball, soccer, volleyball and basketball for the entire youth of the parish from Kindergarten through 8th grade.
The Men's Association also raises additional money to fund special projects for the parish by organizing activities within the group. We encourage more men to become a part of the Men's Association, so please drop us a line if you want to become more active in your parish!

If you reside within the boundaries of our parish, or if you are new to our parish, and would like to register your child for a sport at SCL, please click on the "Online Player Registration" link to the left. For one time only, you will be asked to fill out your family information.
If you signed up for sports on our website before, just click on the " Online Player Registration " . When you register the same child again for another sport later, you will only need to log into the system then provide information for your child pertaining to this new sport.
