2011 Hall of Fame Award Winner - Wally Schaefer - Thursday, April 21, 2011

    It is with great pleasure to announce that Wally Schaefer has been approved for induction to the US Lacrosse Missouri Chapter Hall of Fame.  Wally has made significant contributions to lacrosse in the St. Louis area since 1992.  He started the first youth program in the area.  He served as Assistant Coach for Lafayette High School from 1992 - 2001.  His greatest contribution has been in the area of officiating.  Wally is currently serving as the Official's representative to the Chapter and heads the MALOA training committee.  He has developed a significant training and evaluation program for area officials and works tirelessly to build consistency and continued improvement for the committee. 

 

Wally will be honored at the Chapter Banquet on June 14, 2011 at the Doubletree Hotel in Westport.
